Forehead And Brow Lifts

How does a Forehead & Brow Lift work?

A Forehead & Brow Lift is a procedure aimed at lifting forehead tissue and skin to address saggy skin, wrinkles, and frown lines in the forehead region, as well as potentially elevating droopy eyebrows. It involves the surgical elevation of the forehead skin and eyebrows to an optimum level. Results can vary based on individual circumstances.

Surgical Warning: Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.

What are the different types of Forehead & Brow Lift procedures?

  • Forehead Endoscopic Lift is a complex procedure that involves lifting the forehead skin upwards and reattaching it using the Endotyne method. It requires careful surgical precision and carries potential risks, which will be discussed during consultation.
  • Forehead Suture Lift comprises using special sutures (stitches) to elevate the forehead skin and attaching it to the underlying fibrous tissue.
  • Forehead Coronal Lift involves the excision of forehead skin above the hairline or at the hairline. With lax or sagging skin this may be the most effective procedure.

A Forehead & Brow Lift can be effectively combined with Eye Area Surgery for the best results.

What should you expect after Forehead & Brow Lift surgery?

After your procedure, you may feel drowsy from the anaesthetic and experience some discomfort. It’s important to have someone drive you home and stay with you overnight. On this evening we recommend you rest. You are provided with an after hours direct number in the event you may have any questions or concerns you wish to speak to us about. Recovery times can vary.

With a Forehead Endoscopic Lift, scarring is typically minimal and recovery periods can vary. Each patient’s healing process is unique and will be discussed during consultation.

With a Forehead Suture Lift, the visibility of scarring and recovery times can vary. Each patient’s healing process is unique and will be discussed during consultation.

With a Forehead Coronal Lift, some scarring may be evident at the hairline, and there is an extended recovery period. The effectiveness of this procedure can vary based on individual circumstances.

The next day or within a few days of your procedure you must come back to the Clinic for your first post-operative check.

Our Surgeons and Nurses will provide support during your recovery with a number of post-operative check-ups. However, it’s important to understand that each patient’s recovery process is unique and dependent on their own body and health. If you have any questions or concerns please call the Me Clinic to speak with your Surgeon, Nurses or one of our staff members.

How much does it cost?

As every patient we see has different requirements, it is difficult to provide standardised pricing as each procedure is tailored for each individual patient’s situation. It’s important to note that the cost of the procedure does not guarantee specific results. A no obligation consultation with one of our Surgeons is essential in determining what you require and which procedure would be best suited for you.

Our philosophy is simple. We want you to be fully informed, and we want you to understand all your options and have one accurate price quoted once. Consultation fees may apply.

There is no need for you to obtain a referral from your own doctor to see one of our Surgeons. Generally we are able to book you in to see one of our Surgeons in 7 to 14 days.
